Lessons From Nature.. Be Yourself

Much of the last month I've been alone on a mountainside in the rainforest of Brazil.. grounding into the Earth and the rhythms of nature at Terramaya. It's truly a blessing to have this time and space to receive such a deep immersion in the wild.

Once all the busy-ness of the city and the cultural norms of society fall away, who are we? Once we are just with ourselves and nature, what is life?

I feel healthy and peaceful.

It's a simple life.. just me, the animals, some instruments, books and clothes, the internet, the buildings of the centre that we've lovingly constructed over the last decade, sometimes Evandro, Terramaya's trusty caretaker..

And wild, raw, pristine nature..

Forest. Meadow. Mountains. Valleys. Water. Sun. The sounds of the forest creatures. The wind kissing my skin. The clean air.

No road. Virtually no electricity. No phone signal.

Simple. Natural. Free.

Nature teaches so much.. such as about the cycles of life, surrendering into death, the importance of the instincts..

and the unquestioned acceptance that each living being is unapologetically itself.

Fully living, fully embodying whatever form it has come into existence through.

✧ No need to push into it's becoming.

✧ No need to hold itself back from sharing itself because of fear.

Rama the dog continues with his excited, happy, loving "hello's", even when he knows he'll be told off by top dog Rolly!

He simply expresses his feelings in the moment.

Dog does dog. Cat does cat. Horse does horse.

And we all live together happily, each one contributing to the magic of this precious place, Terramaya.

Simple. Natural. Authentic. Free. 🌿

This really is the essence of what my work is about.. inviting people back into the simple truth of who they are.

Whether you love being in nature or not, it is about finding what truly makes YOUR heart sing, reclaiming your natural self, peeling back the layers of conditioning to arrive at the essence, the truth of who you are, the love in your heart..

And through this deep connection to Self, calling you to live a life of meaning and purpose, a life that fulfils you, a life that you can be happy to call your own.
